Mary Jo Thomas is a seasoned designer with extensive experience in the retail and creative sectors, currently serving as the Global Art Director for Marketplace Experience at Patagonia since June 2007. In this role, Thomas leads the design of physical spaces across Patagonia stores, ensuring a cohesive integration of campaign designs into retail and wholesale channels. Previously, Thomas directed campaign development for the Global Surf and Logowear division, managing cross-functional teams to execute seasonal campaigns. Prior roles include Senior Graphic Designer and Graphic Designer—Surf at Patagonia, as well as freelance design work at pb & MJ Creative and a graphic designer position at Watch Newspapers. Thomas holds a degree in Visual Arts with a focus on Graphic Design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
