Mike Petersen

Mike Petersen has extensive experience in operations management, education, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Operations Manager for the Patagonia Distribution Center since April 2015, Mike oversees processes and a staff of up to 135 employees. Prior to this role, Mike was the Executive Director of Project GRAD Kenai Peninsula, managing educational reform initiatives across multiple schools and overseeing various grants. Additional roles include instructional coaching, ownership of Homer Boat Rentals, and sales representation for Booksource. Mike’s early career involved teaching mathematics at Saipan International School and serving as a Technology Coordinator for Albuquerque Public Schools. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University.
