Rob Naughter

Rob Naughter is an experienced professional in materials innovation and development, currently serving as the Materials R & D Manager at Patagonia since January 2007. Naughter leads a category material team, fosters connections with strategic partners in the global supply chain, and drives advanced material innovations such as FullRange™ insulation and Traceable Down. Prior to Patagonia, Naughter held various roles at Albany International/PrimaLoft from January 2001 to December 2006, including Development Engineer, where responsibilities included sourcing fibers, managing material testing, and implementing inventory tracking. Naughter's career began at Eastern Mountain Sports from 1999 to 2001, where leadership roles included Operations Supervisor, focusing on sales, merchandising, and inventory management. Naughter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University at Albany, completed in 1999.
