Cody Jones

Cody Jones has a wealth of experience in product design, spanning from 2008 to present. Cody began their career as a Graphic Designer at the Coeur d'Alene Press Newspaper in 2008. In 2011, Jones was hired as a User Experience Design Intern at the Sim Centre, where they were then offered a full time position at EvidencePix Systems Inc. as their in-house Interaction Designer. At Mobify, Jones worked as a Designer on the delivery team in the CS Dept. and designed and developed sites for high profile clients. In 2016, Jones worked as a Product Designer at Expa, a startup studio, and as a Product Design Lead at Change Heroes. Cody also had a freelance career in the same year, designing for startups, agencies and product companies. In 2018, Jones joined Shopify as a Staff Product Designer, where they designed Hydrogen, a new Framework for dynamic commerce. Cody is currently working as a Staff Product Designer at Patch, building infrastructure for the sustainable economy.

Cody Jones obtained a Bachelor of Design in Interaction Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2014. Cody also holds a Design Research and Ethics Board Certification from the Panel on Research Ethics.
