Colin Akers

Colin Akers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing across the technology and e-commerce sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Account Executive at Patchworks since June 2024, Colin has previously held the position of Senior Account Executive for Enterprise Solutions at BigCommerce from March 2021 to June 2024, where the focus was on enabling businesses to efficiently manage online stores. Additional roles at BigCommerce included Senior Regional Sales Representative and Merchants Strategy Specialist for the UK & EMEA. Prior to BigCommerce, Colin was the New Business Development Manager at Intelligent Reach and the Head of Membership for Key Accounts at I.A.M. Earlier career experiences included marketing roles at The Sun News and Warner Music Group. Colin holds a Marketing and Advertising BA HONS from the University of the Arts London and has foundational education from City of Westminster College and Whitefield Secondary School.
