Melisa Whorton

Melisa Whorton has extensive experience in the card operations and financial services sectors, currently serving as Card Operations Manager and previously as Card Operations Supervisor at Patelco Credit Union since July 2018. In these roles, Melisa developed a team focused on back office card processing and dispute management while ensuring compliance with regulatory and association requirements. Prior experience includes working as Operations Manager at Kikoff, and Card Services Specialist at Meriwest Credit Union, where responsibilities encompassed chargeback review, card fraud mitigation, and various operational tasks. Melisa also held the position of Operations Lead/Card Specialist at SRI Federal Credit Union, managing retail and backoffice operations, and started the career as a Member Service Representative at Mission City Federal Credit Union. Education was obtained at San Jose City College.
