Carlos Miranda

Carlos Miranda, Ed.D, serves as the Planetarium Manager and Middle School Science Teacher at Paterson Public Schools since September 2007. Additionally, Carlos holds the position of NASA Partner Eclipse Ambassador with the Astronomical Society of the Pacific since September 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Closing Manager at Stop & Shop, Biology Teacher for the Lyndhurst Board of Education, Environmental Science Teacher with the NYC Department of Education, and Middle School Science Teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Carlos earned a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Barry University.
