Marcie Wild is an experienced equine professional and advocate with a diverse background in equine-assisted therapies and mental health. Currently serving as a Board Member and Co-Chair of the Equine Well-being Committee at the Horses and Humans Research Foundation since April 2021, Marcie has been a Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning and an Instructor Mentor with PATH International since September 2011. Marcie has also contributed to the PATH International Equine Welfare Committee and has held certifications as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor since 2002 and a Certified Instructor with Centered Riding since 2003. Previous roles include Human Services Professional at a Not for Profit organization, Court Appointed Special Advocate for CASA, and Director of Equine Assisted Therapies at The Center For Discovery. Marcie’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Life Sciences from Beloit College.
