Spike Nowak

Spike Nowak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global health, particularly in innovative financing and malaria diagnostics. Currently serving as a Senior Officer at PATH since November 2016, Spike leads initiatives to enhance access to medical oxygen and respiratory care in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, while collaborating with various stakeholders to improve malaria treatment and diagnostics. Prior roles at PATH include Market Dynamics Officer and Senior Associate, where Spike developed strategies to increase access to essential malaria drugs and conducted impactful market analysis. Spike's earlier experience includes advisory roles at Frontier Strategy Group and research internships at the Institute of Chinese Studies and Gateway House. An alumnus of Johns Hopkins SAIS and Nanjing University, Spike holds dual Master's degrees in International Relations and Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
