Tara Tagmyer

Tara Tagmyer currently serves as the Scientific Director of Research and Development at PATH since February 2024. Prior to this role, Tara Tagmyer had a distinguished tenure at Merck from October 2007 to November 2023, where positions included Executive Director of Vaccine Process Development, overseeing a team of 150 scientists on various vaccine modalities, and Director of Supply Chain Management, focusing on enhancing social business impact through cross-divisional collaboration. Additionally, Tara Tagmyer directed Quality Operations, managing over 60 professionals in quality assurance for major vaccine products, and contributed as a Principal Scientist in risk analysis for vaccine manufacturing. Tara Tagmyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University and a PhD in Virology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
