Bart van Rooij

Bart van Rooij has a diverse and extensive work experience. Bart recently served as the CFO of Pathé Theatres B.V., the leading company in the Dutch cinema market. Prior to that, they held the same position at Eurail.com, an online retailer in the travel industry. Bart has also served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Schiphol Airport Retail, a joint venture specializing in liquor, tobacco, and chocolate sales at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Bart has a strong background in finance and management, having held various roles at Schiphol Group, including Finance Director Consumer Products & Services. Additionally, Bart has experience as a Finance Director at Interlace Group and as a Controller/Junior Consultant at Cyco Consultancy Services. Overall, Bart's work experience spans across different industries and positions, demonstrating their expertise in finance, strategy formulation, and implementation.

Bart van Rooij's education history begins with their attendance at Maurick College from 1985 to 1991, where they completed their VWO (pre-university education). Following this, they enrolled at Nyenrode Business University in 1991 and completed their first year of a Bachelor of Business Administration program.

In 1992, Bart van Rooij continued their studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Administration. Bart pursued further education at Maastricht University from 2006 to 2008, completing an RC-opleiding (Risk Controller education).

In 2011, Bart attended IMD for a short-term program called "Orchestrating Winning Performance." Bart then attended Governance University in 2018 for a course focused on training supervisory board members and advisory board members.

Most recently, in 2021, Bart van Rooij enrolled in The School of Leadership by Ebbinge for the "Leergang Toezicht Nieuwe Stijl" program, which is specifically designed for professional board members.
