Dan Kendall

VP, Operations at Pathfinder Medical

Dan Kendall has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Dan started their career at Motorola GSM as a Production Line Leader and Prototype Builder from 1993 to 1996. Dan then worked at Hindmarsh Connect as a Process Engineer/Technician from 1996 to 2002. At Cableplus Europe Ltd, they served as a QC/Process Engineering Manager and Far East OEM Sourcing Manager from 2002 to 2016, successfully relocating products to low-cost manufacturers while maintaining high quality.

In 2016, Kendall joined Lombard Medical Limited as a Process Engineer, working on the IntelliFlex LP Delivery System and Aorfix Endovascular Stent Graft. Dan later became a Senior Project Engineer, focusing on design and development projects, managing technical projects, and fostering supplier relationships.

In 2020, Kendall joined developMed Ltd as a Director, and in 2018, they joined Pathfinder Medical. At Pathfinder Medical, they held various roles, including Head of Manufacturing, Head of Operations, and currently serves as the VP of Operations. In these roles, they successfully managed projects, such as installing and validating an ISO 7 Cleanroom and achieving CE Marking for a medical device.

Throughout their career, Kendall has demonstrated expertise in project management, technical leadership, process improvement, and supplier relationship management in the medical device industry.

Dan Kendall has a diverse education history. Dan began their education with a workshop apprenticeship at Rover, where they gained practical experience in the field. Dan later pursued a degree in Physics at Swindon Regent College from 1991 to 1992. After completing their studies in Physics, Dan enrolled at Swindon New College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Music Technology & Recording Techniques. Furthermore, Dan also went through a Motorola GSM apprenticeship, focusing on Manufacturing Engineering. In addition, they completed their GCSEs at Faringdon Community College from 1986 to 1991.
