Pawel Drapala

Pawel Drapala serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Pathfinder Oncology since May 2025. Before this role, Pawel held the position of Sr. Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology at AmplifyBio, overseeing the Manufacturing Enablement Center focused on cell and gene therapy development. Prior experience includes leading the CMC team for allogeneic cell therapy products at CRISPR Therapeutics, where Pawel significantly contributed to regulatory submissions and the first FDA approval of a CRISPR-based therapy. Additional key roles include Director of Biologics Process Engineering at TESARO, and a variety of positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals and ID Biomedical, with expertise in biologics manufacturing and process engineering. Pawel holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
