Colette Cote

Colette Cote is the Chief Portfolio Officer and General Manager of US Operations at PathoQuest. Colette has over two decades of experience in the field of genomics and bioinformatics, with a focus on developing custom service offerings for product biosafety testing. Prior to joining PathoQuest, they served as the Director of Next Generation Sequencing and Bioinformatics at BioReliance, where they were responsible for managing the company's genomics-based service offerings, including next generation and traditional sequencing, custom bioinformatics, custom QPCR-based offerings, and related research and development initiatives. Before that, they were a Senior Scientist at Innovative Biosensors, Inc., where they focused on developing new biosensor technologies. Colette began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where they conducted research on the effects of genetic variation on disease susceptibility. Dr. Cote earned their Ph.D. in Genetics from Stanford University.

Colette Cote received their Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry from Brown University and their Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology with a Chemistry Minor from Rhode Island College.
