James Davison

James Davison has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and machine learning. James currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Pathos since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Ford Motor Company from October 2021 to April 2023. James also worked as a Software Engineer at Capgemini Engineering from January 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Capgemini Engineering, James gained experience as a Web Developer and Machine Learning Research Assistant at Michigan State University. James served as a Web Developer from May 2017 to December 2019 and as a Machine Learning Research Assistant from January 2019 to June 2019. Additionally, James was the Telemetry and Strategy Team Lead at MSU Solar Racing Team from March 2018 to May 2019.

James Davison obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, James has also obtained several certifications. James completed the "TCM Security Practical Ethical Hacking" certification from TCM Security in December 2022. In August 2022, they obtained the certification for "Building Batch Data Pipelines on Google Cloud" from Google. In October 2021, James obtained the "MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) Fundamentals" certification, also from Google. Additionally, they have completed several online certifications in the field of deep learning, including "Convolutional Neural Networks", "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization", "Neural Networks and Deep Learning", and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from deeplearning.ai. Furthermore, they obtained the "Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision" certification from NVIDIA in March 2019.
