Nate Smith

Nate Smith has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Nate currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Pathpoint, where they lead their team in building efficient software systems and takes on ownership of large-scale projects. Additionally, Nate mentors junior engineers and provides valuable insights to the engineering manager for improving the team.

Before joining Pathpoint, Nate was the Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Readable Report, a data SAAS application. Nate partnered with a Designer to develop and implement a complex data transformation engine, reporting, and e-commerce. Nate ensured the creation of efficient and secure codes while also updating documentation on network, software, and hardware issues.

Prior to Readable Report, Nate served as the CTO at Falcon Laboratories, the parent company for Readable Report. Here, they collaborated with a Designer to develop the same data SAAS application.

Earlier in their career, Nate worked at MultiAd as a Senior UI JavaScript Developer. Nate excelled in utilizing Bootstrap, jQuery, and Backbone.js on the front-end, and provided valuable guidance to back-end programmers during the transition from Perl to Django.

Nate Smith attended Illinois Central College from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Arts and Science with a focus on Computer Science.
