Vanessa Soares

Vanessa Soares, MSA, currently serves as a Client Manager at Pathstone since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Tax Supervisor and Senior Accountant at REX CAPITAL ADVISORS, LLC, from June 2019 to May 2023, and as a Senior Accountant at Piccerelli, Gilstein & Company, LLP, from February 2014 to May 2019. Vanessa's expertise encompasses the preparation of federal and state tax returns for various entities, along with thorough tax research to ensure accurate work papers and provisions. Earlier, Vanessa held positions including Senior Assistant Accountant, Staff Accountant, and Tax and Audit Intern, as well as serving as a Volunteer Tax Preparer with the IRS VITA Program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Roger Williams University, and an Associate of Science in Accounting from the Community College of Rhode Island.
