Nathan Benson

Nathan Benson is an accomplished legal and strategic professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy at The Refugee Hub since February 2016, Nathan has also held positions including Senior Strategic Advisor and Legal & Research Director, and previously acted as the National Director for the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program. Other notable roles include a lawyer at Landings LLP and legal counsel at the Department of Justice Canada. Nathan has contributed to the community through volunteer positions, such as Chair of the Board of Directors for Centretown Affordable Housing Development Corporation and board member for Centretown Citizens Ottawa Corporation. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Thomas University.
