Dita also has a background as a Sailor and Cadet. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Unitec and various certifications in Community Skills and Tourism. Their professional experience spans across different organizations including Pathways New Zealand, Deaf Aotearoa, PHAB Inc., New Zealand Maritime Museum, Explore Group, and Spirit of Adventure Trust.
