AnnMarie McIlwain is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in leadership and marketing. As CEO of Patient Advocators since July 2015, AnnMarie has led a team dedicated to assisting individuals in making informed medical decisions and reducing insurance costs. Prior to this, AnnMarie founded and served as CEO of CareerFuel from 2009 to June 2015, a prominent platform for job seekers and small businesses. AnnMarie also held the position of President at McIlwain Marketing Consulting, LLC, where consulting services were provided to Fortune 100 companies from 1994 to 2009. Earlier roles include Director of Marketing at Biocyte, where AnnMarie was instrumental in launching the first cord blood stem cell storage service, and significant positions at Johnson & Johnson where AnnMarie had P&L responsibility for a $200 million business and transitioned Monistat to OTC status. AnnMarie began their career at Procter & Gamble as an Assistant Brand Manager. Recently, AnnMarie completed a certificate in Genomic Sequencing for Precision Cancer Treatment at Harvard Medical School and holds a BA in Economics from Wellesley College.

Patient Advocators is a team of professionals whose collective mission is to help people any where in the U.S. make well-informed decisions about their medical care and its costs. We assist people in understanding their diagnoses, identifying the best doctors, accompanying them to doctor's appointments, organizing their medical records and finding opportunities to lower their out-of-pocket health insurance expenses. Our team consists of a critical care nurse who worked at several of the top hospitals in the U.S., an insurance expert who spent most of her career working for healthcare insurance companies and now uses her knowledge to help our clients reduce their bills and a healthcare marketing executive. More recently, we added a primary care physician to our team. We have our clients backs when it comes to their healthcare needs so that they can enjoy life.
