Brendaly Rodríguez, MA CPH has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Starting in 1992, Brendaly worked as a Communication Lecturer and Minority Assistance Program Counselor at Arizona State University. In 1998, they became the Programs Manager at the Center for Culture, Ethnicity and Health.

In 2001, Brendaly served as a Project Manager for Public Health Research and Evaluation at ORC Macro. Brendaly then joined the University of Miami in 2003 and held various positions, including Senior Research Associate, Communications and Outreach Manager, Manager of the South Florida Center for Reducing Cancer Disparities, and Manager of Community and Stakeholder Engagement for the Miami CTSI.

In 2010, Brendaly became a Founding Member and Past Co-President of the FL CHW Coalition, Inc., promoting and supporting the Community Health Worker profession in Florida. Brendaly also worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Miami Dade College, teaching Speech Communication.

From 2014 to present, Brendaly has been involved with the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as a Senior Engagement Officer and PCORI Brand Ambassador. Brendaly is also a member of the PCORI Advisory Panel on Patient Engagement.

Additionally, Brendaly has worked as the Director of the Chula Vista Community Collaborative and was a member of the Florida Association of Nonprofit Organizations (FANO) from 2015 to 2020.

In 2004, Brendaly founded BR Consulting & Associates, LLC, where they focused on partnership development, health equity, qualitative research, community health worker training, and cultural and interpersonal communication training.

Throughout their career, Brendaly has demonstrated a commitment to advancing research, promoting equitable healthcare practices, and supporting diverse communities.

Brendaly Rodríguez, MA CPH, has a diverse education background. Brendaly obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Communication from the University of Puerto Rico in 1991. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Intercultural Communication from Arizona State University, which they completed in 1994.

In 2002, Brendaly attended the University of Cambridge, where they obtained an Epidemiology of Diabetes Certificate, focusing on the field of Epidemiology. Additionally, they engaged in post-graduate coursework in Curriculum and Instruction at Arizona State University.

Throughout their career, Brendaly also acquired several certifications. In 1998, they became a Certified Translator with expertise in English-Spanish translation, granted by the National Australian Association of Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). Brendaly later received the Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation from the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) in September 2018. Lastly, Brendaly obtained an Approved Education Provider Certification from the Florida Certification Board in October 2017.

Brendaly'seducational journey spans multiple fields, ranging from communication and intercultural studies to epidemiology and public health.
