Julie Stern has a strong background in technology and healthcare, with over 17 years of experience in various leadership roles. Julie is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Patient Discovery, where they are responsible for transforming patient voices into actionable insights for whole-person care. Prior to this, Julie worked as a Strategic Technology Advisor at Lumate Health, a teletherapy platform specializing in anxiety and related disorders. Julie also held the positions of EVP Engineering / CIO / CISO and Senior Vice President of Engineering at H1, a healthcare data platform. Julie has also worked as a Senior Advisor at Thematically, Chief Technology Officer / Chief Information Security Officer at HealthReveal and Vesta Healthcare, and Chief Technology Officer at Hometeam. Earlier in their career, they served as the CTO at Accolade, Inc., a healthcare concierge service, and co-founded and served as the CTO of konciergeMD, an online healthcare collaboration platform. Julie's expertise spans areas such as technology strategy, engineering, information security, and patient engagement.

Julie Stern earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where they attended from 1983 to 1988. Currently, they are pursuing additional education in the field of Chief Technology Officer through the Wharton Executive Education program, with a planned completion year of 2023.
