Chris Walthour

Chris Walthour has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Chris currently works as a Data Scientist at PatientPoint®, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, Chris worked at Cardinal Health where they held multiple roles including Senior Data Scientist, Consultant in Advanced Analytics, Advisor in Financial Planning & Analysis, and Supervisor in Accounting. Chris was employed at Cardinal Health from 2013 to 2022.

Before their time at Cardinal Health, Chris worked at Plante Moran as an Assurance Senior and Healthcare Consulting Staff from 2010 to 2013. Chris also gained experience through internships at Knueven, Schroeder & Company, CPA in 2009 and Rowmark, LLC in 2008.

Chris Walthour obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Findlay, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Chris later pursued a Master's Degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, completing their studies between 2016 and 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Chris has also obtained several certifications. Chris completed the course "Advanced Python for Data Science" at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business in January 2022. In October 2021, they completed the course "Intermediate Python for Data Science" at the same institution. Moreover, Chris obtained the certification "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Coursera in April 2020, and the certification "How Google does Machine Learning" from the same platform during the same month and year. Chris also obtained the certification "DataRobot Essentials" from DataRobot in February 2020, and the certification "Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision" from NVIDIA in September 2019.
