Emily Mays completed their high school education at Larry A Ryle High School from 2014 to 2018, earning a High School Diploma. Emily then went on to attend the University of Cincinnati from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, General.

In addition to their formal education, Emily also obtained several certifications. In October 2016, they became a Microsoft Office Specialist certified by Microsoft. In April 2020, they completed a Cybersecurity Virtual Apprenticeship offered by iQ4 - Internships / Apprenticeships. In July 2020, Emily obtained a certificate in Learning Canva through LinkedIn. Lastly, in April 2022, they obtained several certifications including Getting Started as a LinkedIn Learning Admin from LinkedIn, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati, and a Copyediting & Publishing Certificate from the University of Cincinnati. Emily also completed a Smartsheet Tips and Tricks course through LinkedIn in April 2022.
