Renee Roberts has a long and varied work experience. Renee began their career in 2012 as the Director of Exhibitions and Collections Manager at Ortlip Art Gallery, where they directed and installed six diverse exhibitions, planned the menu, decorations, and entertainment for gallery openings, and hired, trained, and managed four gallery assistants. In 2013, they worked as a Bookseller at Books-A-Million, providing customers with book and media recommendations, responsible for store merchandising, and acting as a community liaison. From 2014 to 2016, they were an English Language Teacher at Saesaem Middle School, teaching conversational and textbook English to 1200 Korean students, developing lesson plans, class activities, and assessments, and overseeing the newspaper club. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Abington Community Library as a Project Manager, coordinating and hosting over fifty programs for teens and adults yearly, creating original content for Lackawanna County Library System’s weekly newsletter, acting as liaison between the Library and local businesses, non-profits, and community partners, actively planning and implementing several yearly fundraising efforts, founding and facilitating the Library’s “Social Justice Book Club,” planning and executing teen and millennial programming, executing monthly Teen Reading Lounge, and creating targeted social media content. Since 2021, they have been a Project Manager at PatientWing.

Renee Roberts obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Theirtory from Houghton University in 2012, with minors in Art and Writing. Renee also holds a TESOL certification from Korea Nazarene University.
