Elina Helander

Elina Helander is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in research and development, currently working at Patria since August 2017, where responsibilities include algorithm development, pattern recognition, and signal processing. Simultaneously, Elina has been a postdoctoral researcher at Tampere University of Technology since May 2001, focusing on personal health and wellness technology, project management, and data analytics using R and Python, alongside proficiency in MATLAB/Octave, C/C++, Perl, and SQL/PostgreSQL. Elina's background also includes roles in speech and audio signal processing and radar signal processing, complemented by a Doctor of Science (Technology) in Signal Processing and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Tampere University of Technology.
