Mikko Viitaniemi is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the defense and security sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for the Joint & Security Business Area at Patria since August 2019, Mikko also holds a position on the Board of Directors at Silverskin Information Security Oy. Prior experience includes 20 years at Bittium, where roles ranged from Sales Director for the EMEA region to Senior Manager for Defense Products. Mikko's expertise encompasses tactical communications, product management, sales channel management, and market strategy development. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Aalto University and engineering degrees from the University of Bath and Vaasa Institute of Technology.
