Sarah Kamen is an experienced aquarist and marine conservation professional with a robust background in animal care and rehabilitation. Currently serving as an Aquarist I at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science since September 2022, Sarah previously held positions such as AmeriCorps Husbandry and Rehabilitation Fellow at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, where responsibilities included veterinary assistance and care for various species. Additional experiences include internships focused on marine animal rescue at the National Aquarium and shark care at the New York Aquarium, alongside earlier roles as a veterinary assistant and lab intern at the Smithsonian Institution. Sarah holds a Master of Professional Science in Marine Ecosystems and Society from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Longwood University.
