Lance Bardo

Lance Bardo has an extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Lance is currently the President of Patriot Contract Services, LLC since June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Marine Operations for Patriot Contract Services, LLC from February 2016 to May 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, engineering, crewing, and logistics of the company's fleet of government contracted vessels worldwide. Lance also ensured regulatory compliance, safety, and adherence to government contract requirements. Additionally, they supported business development and bid proposals.

Before joining Patriot Contract Services, LLC, Lance Bardo worked as a Program Manager for Patriot Contract Services from August 2011 to February 2016. In this position, they managed cargo ships under contract to the Military Sealift Command. Lance oversaw technical, engineering, regulatory compliance, safety, and quality management functions in support of the ships' daily operations. Lance also supervised fleet Port Engineers, Vessel Superintendents, and Technical Managers.

Lance Bardo also had experience as the Managing Director for Southern Cross Maritime, LLC for a brief period in 2011. Lance worked as a Management Consultant for their own company, Lance Bardo Consulting, from September 2010 to February 2011.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Lance Bardo served in the U.S. Coast Guard for many years. Lance held various roles, including Commanding Officer of a Coast Guard National Security Cutter from August 2007 to October 2010. Lance was responsible for the commissioning of the new ship and overseeing its crew and operations. Lance also served as the Director of Resources and Performance Management, Pacific from August 2006 to August 2007. Earlier in their Coast Guard career, they served as the Commanding Officer of a Coast Guard High Endurance Cutter, overseeing the ship's operations and leading public safety operations and international engagements in the Pacific ocean. Lance also served as the Operations Manager, Pacific Area, where they managed multiple assets, teams, and a budget of $35 million. Prior to that, they held the role of Commanding Officer of a Coast Guard Medium Endurance Cutter from 1981 to 2001.

Overall, Lance Bardo has extensive experience in overseeing maritime operations, managing contracts, ensuring compliance and safety, and leading teams in both the private and public sectors.

Lance Bardo pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at the US Coast Guard Academy from 1977 to 1981. Following this, they attended the Naval Postgraduate School from 1985 to 1987, where they earned their Master's degree in Operations Research.
