Owen Zidar

Owen Zidar has a strong background in the railway industry. Owen began their career at Santa Fe Railway in 1989, where they held various roles including AVP. In 1995, they joined Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Co. as AVP Truckload Marketing. After four years, they moved to Kansas City Southern Railway, where they served as VP Sales and Marketing for a decade. In 2015, Zidar joined Watco Companies LLC as SVP Strategy & Customer Development, and recently in 2020, they became the Vice President of Strategic Planning at Patriot Rail Company.

Owen Zidar completed their MBA in Finance from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago in 1980. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Marquette University in 1979. Owen completed their high school education at Rockhurst High School from 1971 to 1975.
