Rebecca Qian

Rebecca Qian is a Co-Founder at Patronus AI, with previous experience as a Research Engineer at Facebook AI. At Facebook AI, Rebecca worked on fundamental NLP research, released FairBERTa, trained demographic perturbation models, developed bias mitigation frameworks for dialogue assistants, managed NLU modules, and built HITL pipelines for embodied assistants. Rebecca also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer, where Rebecca developed a statistical pattern mining algorithm used by multiple infrastructure teams at Facebook. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Chicago.
