Marc Müller

Marc Mitjans, PhD, is a Senior Robotics Engineer at Symbotic since October 2024, specializing in perception, localization, and mapping. Previously, Marc served as a Doctoral Researcher at Boston University from September 2019 to August 2024, where significant work included factor graph-based visual-inertial odometry for 3-D human pose estimations and the development of technology for automated human mobility assessments with high accuracy. Additional experiences include a Deep Learning and Controls Internship at Motional, work as a Robotics Engineer at GreenSight, and various research roles at prestigious institutions such as MIT and EPFL. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Boston University, alongside multiple master's degrees in Automatic Control & Robotics and Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
