Adam Cernea Clark has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Adam started their career as an English language teacher at Shakespeare School in 2009 before transitioning into environmental policy research with Save the Bay from 2010 to 2011. From 2012 to 2013, Adam gained legal experience through roles as a legal intern at the U.S. Court of Appeals and as a research assistant for Northeastern Law Professors. Adam then worked as a PHRGE Legal Fellow in the Private Sector Department at Oxfam America in 2012. In 2013, they served as a law clerk at POP PEPA Attorneys at Law and as a research assistant for a Northeastern Law Professor. Adam also conducted research as a research assistant for Northeastern University School of Law, where they independently prepared research reports on indigenous rights law instruments. Adam Cernea Clark completed their Bachelor's degree in English (creative writing) at Kenyon College from 2001 to 2005. Adam then pursued their legal education, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a focus on International and environmental law from Northeastern University School of Law between 2011 and 2014.
