Ian Rice

Ian Rice is a Senior Director of Development at Pattern Energy, a position held since 2025. They previously served as Director of Development at NextEra Energy, where they contributed to the growth of transmission assets across North America from 2022 to 2025. Ian's earlier experience includes roles as Senior Manager of Development at Moose Power and Manager of Interconnection and Regulatory Affairs at Solar Provider Group LLC. They hold a Master's degree from Rice University and a BA from University College London, complemented by an ERASMUS scholarship at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
