Shannon Fullmer has over 20 years of experience in insurance and risk management. Shannon currently holds the position of Director of Insurance and Risk Management at Pattern Energy Group since 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Risk Manager at The AES Corporation from 2021 to 2022 and at sPower from 2020 to 2021. Shannon also has experience as a Senior Insurance Analyst at PacifiCorp from 2016 to 2020 and as a Risk and Insurance Manager at Savage Services from 2014 to 2016. Shannon has held various positions in risk management and claims handling throughout their career, including roles at Bear River Mutual, City of West Jordan, and Salt Lake City Corporation. Shannon holds certifications including CPCU and ARM-P, and they have expertise in managing insurance programs, negotiating settlements, and overseeing large loss incidents.

Shannon Fullmer, CPCU, ARM-P, AIC, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Michigan University between 1982 and 1999. In addition to their degree, Shannon has also obtained several certifications from The Institutes. In May 2005, they obtained the Associate Insurance Claims (AIC) certification. Then, in June 2008, they achieved the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) certification as well as the Associate Risk Management - Public Entities (RMPE) certification in September of the same year. Shannon's most recent certification is the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) which they obtained from The Institutes in November 2019.
