Shannon Meyer-Johanson

Shannon Meyer-Johanson is the Director of Government Affairs for the Eastern Region at Pattern Energy, a position held since August 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Policy & Government Affairs at Sol Systems from June 2019 to August 2025, where roles transitioned from Senior Manager to Associate in various capacities related to legislative and regulatory affairs. Shannon's background includes a fellowship as a Data Policy Analyst at AARP, and consulting experience at Beghou Consulting, specializing in data-driven solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Additional roles include a policy internship in the U.S. House of Representatives and several positions focused on marketing and data analytics. Shannon earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Economics & Policy and Geography from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University, and completed a certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy at Yale University.
