Derek Tyner

Derek Tyner has over 17 years of work experience in the technology industry. Derek began their career in 2003 as an IBM Software Consultant & Instructor for Barker Consulting. In 2005, they moved to Motricity as a Senior Software Engineer. Derek then worked as a Software Engineer for Novarra from 2008 to 2010. After that, they joined Nokia as a Senior Engineer. In 2011, they became an Engineering Team Lead at Appia. Derek then moved to Digital Turbine in 2013 as a Lead Architect and Engineering Manager. In 2016, they joined CA Technologies as an Engineering Manager. Two years later, they started working at Teradata as a Sr Manager of Architecture. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Pattern Health as the Director of Architecture.

Derek Tyner attended the College of Charleston from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
