Emily Bekkerus

Emily Bekkerus, CPA, CFE has a strong background in auditing and internal control. Emily started their career as a Local Government Auditor at the State of North Dakota in May 2018, where they worked until May 2019. Emily then joined the State of Minnesota as a Local Government Auditor in May 2019 and continued in this role until January 2021. Since then, Emily has been working at Patterson Companies, Inc., starting as an Internal Auditor from January 2021 until October 2022. Emily then became a Senior Internal Auditor until August 2023 when they were promoted to Internal Audit Lead. Emily's experience in both governmental and corporate auditing positions demonstrates their expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and risk assessment.

Emily Bekkerus, CPA, CFE earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from North Dakota State University in 2017 and went on to complete a Master's degree in Accounting at the same institution in 2018.
