Ray Cracauer

Ray Cracauer is a seasoned automation engineer with extensive experience in software development and testing. Currently serving as the Senior Automation Engineer Lead at Patterson Companies, Inc. since May 2017, Ray leads a team of 11 in implementing advanced testing frameworks and strategies, including a .NET UI test framework using Playwright and AI-driven conversions of Selenium tests. Previously, Ray worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), focusing on tools for Amazon Prime, and held various roles at Thomson Reuters, where Ray contributed to software engineering and testing efforts. With an educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from Brown Institute, Ray possesses a robust technical foundation in both embedded software and cloud-based solutions.
