Donald Verplancken

Donald Verplancken was formerly Chief Patent Counsel with Applied Materials and joined the firm in 2002. Well-regarded in the field of intellectual property law, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Patterson + Sheridan, especially in the areas of manufacturing, technology, semiconductor process equipment, semiconductor devices, and electronics. Donald is highly skilled in transactional work related to licensing and portfolio management, and has served as the IP and technology lead for clients on acquisitions ranging in value from thirty-million to over three-billion dollars. He holds several patents related to the manufacturing of semiconductors.
