James Lear

James Lear is an accomplished Environmental Scientist currently leading environmental and water management projects at Pattle Delamore Partners since November 2021. As a co-founder and Director of Delta Waterways, an innovative startup focused on surface water quality monitoring using advanced technologies, James has played a crucial role in various prestigious entrepreneurial programs. With a strong academic background, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Science and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Auckland, James also contributes as a Research Assistant for the Soilsafe Aotearoa project and has served as Head Graduate Teaching Assistant, demonstrating expertise in educational delivery and environmental research.
