Jon Fitzgerald

Jon Fitzgerald has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Positive School Principal and Assistant Principal at Pattonville School District since August 2010. Responsibilities include supervising Positive Alternative High School, Pattonville High School's Science Department, and the Career Technical Education Department. Fitzgerald coordinated the development of four-year academic pathways in Computer Science, Biomedical Science, and Engineering at Pattonville High School. Previously, as a teacher of Modern World History, courses included World History Themes, Youth and Law, and World War Two, with a focus on curriculum alignment to Missouri standards. Prior experience includes teaching Social Studies at Saint Louis Public Schools, where project-based curriculum was developed for at-risk eighth and ninth graders. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Maryville University, a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University, and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Southeast Missouri State University.
