Markus Knauss

Markus Knauss has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Markus is currently the Director of IT Infrastructure Services at the HARTMANN GROUP, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Kneipp as the Head of Information Management from January 2018 to May 2021.

Before joining Kneipp, Markus held various roles at the HARTMANN GROUP. Markus served as a Senior Manager in IT from October 2015 to December 2017 and as a Software Architect from December 2010 to October 2015.

Markus began their career as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Universität Stuttgart in January 2005 and worked there until November 2010. Markus also had brief stints at aformatik Training & Consulting GmbH & Co. KG as a Diplom-Informatiker in November to December 2004, and at Hänschen&Partner Beratungsgesellschaft für Wirtschaftsinformatik mbH as a Diplom-Informatiker from December 2002 to October 2004.

Markus Knauss earned a Diplom-Informatiker degree in Softwaretechnik from the University of Stuttgart, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Markus also holds various certifications, including a Certified Professional for Software Architecture Advanced Level certification obtained in 2017 and an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management obtained in 2016.
