Meghan Efland began their career at Historic St. Mary's City in 2000 as an Archaeological Field and Lab Technician & Teaching Assistant, where they worked until 2003. Meghan then transitioned to PRS Guitars, starting as a Loss Control Coordinator in 2004 and progressing through roles such as MRO Buyer, Material Sourcing Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Purchasing & Inventory Control Manager. In 2017, they became the Director of Supply Chain at PRS Guitars, where they focused on advancing sourcing strategies, improving product margins, and managing a wide portfolio of commodities. Throughout their work experience, they demonstrated a talent for strategic procurement, supplier management, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Meghan Efland obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology & Sociology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2003. Meghan later pursued studies in Business Administration and Management at Anne Arundel Community College from 2012 to 2015.
