Alex King

Alex King has a strong background in the legal industry, primarily focusing on technology and applications. Currently, King serves as the Director of Practice & Business Systems at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where they have been since 2021. Prior to that, King worked as the IS Applications Director at the same company for two years.

Before joining Paul, Weiss, King held the position of Director of Applications and Development at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP from 2015 to 2021. They were responsible for overseeing applications and development projects during this time.

Earlier in King's career, they worked at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz as the Manager of Business Systems and later as an Applications Architect. This role involved managing business systems and architecting applications.

King also has experience outside of the legal industry. They worked as a Senior Technology Analyst at Time Warner Inc. from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, King held roles as a Systems Architect and an IT Consultant at the NYC Department of Education from 2000 to 2006.

Before their work in the legal and education sectors, King gained experience as a Software Engineer at Quixi Inc and AXA Equitable in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
