Mark Steele

Mark Steele, CSP, currently serves as the Safety and Compliance Manager at Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative since July 2023. Previously, Mark held the role of Senior Environment Health Safety Specialist at Parker Hannifin from May 2022 to July 2023, and as Safety Coordinator at Alcoa Warrick Operations from May 2021 to May 2022, where crucial health and safety training and risk assessments were conducted. Mark has also gained extensive experience as District Safety Manager at MPW Industrial Services, overseeing the health and safety of employees across multiple states, and as IOSHA Compliance Supervisor and Officer at the Indiana Department of Labor. Furthermore, earlier roles included Area Director at Contemporary Services Inc and Pipeline Safety Manager at the Indiana Pipeline Awareness Association, among others. Mark holds a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management and a BS in Environmental Science and Health from Indiana University Indianapolis.
