Richard Whitney

Richard Whitney is an experienced associate pastor at St. John XXIII University Parish with a background in mental health counseling, holding a Master of Divinity from The Catholic University of America and a Master's in Education from Cambridge College. Whitney has served as a volunteer manager for St. Paul's Free Lunch Program, coordinating efforts to provide meals to individuals in need. A former stage manager and technical director, Whitney has substantial experience in performing arts, having worked with Michael Mack Productions and the Folger Shakespeare Library. Additionally, Whitney has extensive educational credentials, including a PhD candidacy in history and certifications in tobacco treatment and addiction prevention, showcasing a commitment to both spiritual and community service.
