Laurence Kemball-Cook

Laurence Kemball-Cook is the CEO of Pavegen, a company specializing in innovative flooring tiles that convert kinetic energy from footsteps into renewable electricity, contributing to smart city development and providing real-time footfall data analytics. Since May 2014, Laurence has served as an Honorary Innovation and Enterprise Fellow at Loughborough University, guiding graduate entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into viable businesses. Previous experience includes roles as a Design Engineer at Eon UK PLC, where Laurence worked on sustainable street lighting solutions, and as a Designer at One Integrated Communications, collaborating with marketing professionals. Laurence also held the position of Sustainable Designer at Lloyd Bore Landscape Architects, implementing strategic sustainable solutions in various projects. Laurence Kemball-Cook holds a degree in Industrial Design and Technology from Loughborough University.
