James Butler

James Butler has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. James started their career in 1991 as a Technical Sales Manager at Dynatek Automation Systems, where they worked on SAN and Disk array systems and managed a team of technical support personnel. James then moved on to SecamCCTV, where they served as a Regional Sales Manager and excelled in generating new business in all market sectors.

In 2004, James joined Chubb Fire & Security as a Regional Sales Executive and later became a National Account Manager, managing an existing customer base and generating new business in the retail market sector. James achieved regular positive feedback from customers and senior management.

In 2015, James joined Tyco Integrated Security as a Strategic National Account Manager, where they evaluated contractual scopes of work, managed additional work through revisions and change orders, prepared proposals, and negotiated settlement prices.

From 2017 to 2023, James worked at Johnson Controls in various roles. James first served as an Enterprise Strategic Account Manager, responsible for driving profitable growth and customer satisfaction by implementing strategic account and relationship management. James then became the Director of National Accounts, overseeing enterprise accounts, partnering with other divisions, and coordinating opportunities and strategies within Fortune 60 Industrial and Manufacturing accounts.

Most recently, James joined Pavion in 2023 as the Senior Director of Security for National Accounts.

James Butler attended Harrogate Grammar School from 1980 to 1985 and then went on to study at Harrogate College from 1986 to 1998, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In 2021, they obtained a certification as a TIME Mentor from the Security Industry Association.
