Suman Verma

Suman Verma has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Suman is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Lucid Diagnostics and holds the position of VP of Molecular Diagnostics at PAVmed Inc. Suman previously worked at Bridge Diagnostics as the VP of Research & Development. Suman also has a significant tenure at ResearchDx, where they served as the VP of Genomic Services and Director of Genomic Services, overseeing R&D activities and the development of novel assays for clinical research and practice. Prior to that, they held positions as a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at ResearchDx, designing and validating molecular assays. Suman began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Irvine, conducting research on mammary gland development and carcinogenesis. Before that, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, focusing on breast cancer therapeutics. Suman's early work experience includes working as a Staff Physician at Sarvodaya Hospital, conducting clinical trials and obtaining ISO 9001-2000 certification, and as a resident in internal medicine at Civil Hospital, Ballabgarh, India.

Suman Verma has a Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences (Molecular and Cell Biology Major) from UC Irvine, which was obtained from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, Suman Verma has a Diploma in Computer Applications from Maharshi Dayanand University, completed from 2001 to 2002. Furthermore, Suman Verma holds an M.D. degree in Medicine from Maharishi Dayanand University, achieved between 1994 and 2000.
